How does it work?

Your background and needs are not like anybody else’s – and that’s fine! I’ll learn about your particular situation as we work together.

However, there are some general things to know about the process:

The Information

I’ll ask you to send me the version of your resume you’re currently using and I’ll also ask you to fill out a questionnaire. If you don’t have a resume, the questionnaire will prompt you to provide the information I need.

This is not difficult work, and does not require a great deal of writing. Having said that, the more good information I have to use, the better I can make your resume, so start thinking about your career to date and even talk to colleagues, friends, and family members to see what they say about your strengths and achievements.

The Timeline

I can usually send you a draft within five business days of me receiving the above-mentioned information. From that point, revisions are generally completed quite quickly.

The Cost

My introductory pricing is $200.00 (CDN) for a two- to three-page resume and a sample cover letter you can customize for future use.

I will notify you when I start work on your resume, and payment is due at that time by eTransfer or PayPal.

My Promises

I will care about you and your resume.

I will communicate with you. I will keep you informed of timelines, the need for additional information, etc. And, of course, you can contact me at any time

I’m relying on word-of-mouth recommendations. I want you to be happy, and I want you to be so happy that you’ll tell your friends and family about my work. Simply put, my aim is to make you (much) happier at the end of the resume process than you were at the beginning!
